Multi-Passion | Do I need to pick only one?

One of the people I respect is Marie Forleo, and I highly recommend her Marie TV. This is the episode which encourages me to write about this, Multi-Passion!

Many interests?

Other than my official career (life coach), I am also an environmentalist who cares nature and a big animal lover (I work in veterinary medicine too). I love to learn neuroscience, psychology, medicine, quantum physics, the law of attraction, etc. Yes, I have so many interests! Some people may say that you should stick to only one thing to be professional. Of course, I respect people who can deeply devote to one specific field. But not everyone is like that. I’ve changed my career a few times and made a better performance in each job than people who worked longer than I was. Of course, I worked really hard and used my free time to develop knowledge and skills. So, it is not always true that longer experience guarantees better work. I believe how much you can love what you do is the key to success. Thank you, Marie! You gave us a great example, Leonardo da Vinci. He had a multi-passion and was a big achiever!
Leonardo (15 April 1452 – 2 May 1519), was an Italian polymath whose areas of interest included invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. He has been variously called the father of paleontology, ichnology, and architecture, and is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time. Sometimes credited with the inventions of the parachute, helicopter, and tank, he epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. From Wikipedia (as of 8/11/2016)
Here is my conclusion. If there are many things you want to do, Do them all! You don’t have to give up them. Try them in a smart way. Marie also said that it is better to try than to regret not doing ten years later. That’s absolutely right! Try it, Only people who tried know whether it’s right or not for them. You never figure out if you really like it until you take it. Multi-Passion is okay. It is who you are. If you are still searching what you like, keep trying whatever comes to your mind.

Marie Forleo
